A sigh escaped me, and as much as I wanted to ask Brendon more questions, Alec was back and that did not seem right to do. As the guitar strings started to strum, my attention reverted back to Alec now, "Is that you're own song?"

i laughed lightly " its just a melody ." i shrugged " but yes its mine."

I smiled, "It's pretty," I replied now, watching as his figures glided over the strings now when Brendon interrupted and announced that he was going to his bedroom. I watched him for a moment before he disappeared behind the door now and shut it, "Wow. Um, your brother's friend was...interesting," actually, more like one of the biggest jerks I had ever met, but I wasn't about to say that to Alec if they were actually friends.

I watched his fingers strum at the guitar strings, "You just don't know him," he said with a shrug now. My eyes glanced up towards him for a moment, thinking about what Brenden had said to me about Alec before I glanced away now, thinking, "I guess I don't really know anybody."
