A sigh escaped me, "Tell me about it," I replied now, thinking about how my parents hated all of my friends, espeacially Aiden. Jealous people were like walking around on hot coals, it was hard to figure out where to step.

Archer was silent, and I found myself remaining silent also, perhaps it was just because i found myself thinking that we probably shouldn't even be talking about this stuff, "So...uh, how did you meet your girlfriend?" I asked now, wildly changing the subject.
