It felt weird to be at a place that was not my home. Plus, it was the middle of summer too, even in Michigan, it always seemed cold, but here, there were crispe breezes and mountain views. In the dense, green grass, I was sure to stand out with my bright red hoodie. I always wore it, regaurdless of the weather, it made me feel safe for some reason. Sitting on the ground, my nimble hands would reach forward and pull wild daises out of the grass now. With each stem breaking, I dug my finger nails into the stalk and made a whole, looping each flower together to create a never ending train of the white flowers. A caw caught my attention as I glanced up to see a big black bird dancing about on the ground, no doubt looking for food. I wondered if blac birds had the same supersition that black cats had. Shrugging the thought off though, I went back to making daisy chains unware of the approaching person.

I had still been ripping up daisies when I heard some movements from behind me. Startled, I glanced over my shoulder now to see a girl and a horse approaching now, "Hello," she greeted now as he got off her horse before leading it over to me and sat down, "I'm Coraline," she added on with a smile now. I merely stared at her for a moment, she seemed friendly enough, "Olivia," I replied, glancing at the horse for a moment before going back to making daisy chains, "Your horse is pretty."

"Do you mind if I sit here?," I glanced up from the floors now and stared over at the girl and her horse for a moment. Allowing the silence to hang in the air, I thought about my answer for a moment before finally answering, "You may."
