It had been four months about since spy was shot. The vet said try and ride him. After our gallop he was his firey self. I smiled and rubbed his bareback. I didn't want to add the extra stress of a heavy western saddle. I had just his plain loose ring snaffle on him. I wanted him to be relaxed and not scared or stressed. I had him up against the fence and I sat on the top rail. "Okay spy. Ready?" I asked him but also myself. "Ready alexandria?l I asked myself softly using my full name. "Yes aj." I said talking to myself. "I'm insane." I whispered and slipped onto spy's back. He didn't move at all just turned his head back and gave me an affectionate look. I smiled and we started walking around.
