I simply shrugged, "I can't see what else. The girl I arrived with, she brough ther horse like it had been some trip or something rather than exile," a loud sigh escaped me now, "Still can't believe I've only been here for a week."

I noticed how Jett trailed off now. A snort of laughter escaped me, "What? Jealous?" Either way, I probably should just end it, "Carrie and I were just stuck in the same truck together. Believe me, there will never be anything between her and me if that was what was going through your head."

I looked at him and laughed " yeah i'm sooo jealous." i said highly sarcastically but with a smile then said ' mhm suuuure." with a smile for him to know i was kidding

I took a sip from my drink now, studying her as she laughed and easily brushed me off. Of course, now it was only my turn to laugh, "You laugh it off and be sarcastic, but I bet you were," I replied with a smirk, "Why else would you have trailed off like that?"

I could have said something messed up , but i didn't , and i think he was the only guy i'd ever met who rolled there eyes. i took a small bite of my fry and said simply " well aren't you lucky then." with an amused smile
