I looked at him with an odd look how was it so easy for him to say this about his own parents , i had hated my dad , but it didn't mean i wouldn't have sadness about him if he ahd died

I wanted to ask if this was how he reacted , or if they're was sadness just buiried and i''m saure my eyes asked that . But i said " I'm very sorry for your loss." slowly looking in his eyes so he could see i was sorry for his situation
