I ignored Brenden, he probably wasn't completely coherent at the moment anyways. I glanced back over towards Alec now, his hair had fallen into his eyes and I couldn't help but to smile softly, "You shouldn't let your hair do that, you have nice eyes, anyways...see you around?"

I watched how Brenden got up and leave. Strange, perhaps whatever he had been smoking was starting to get to him. It was depressing how people could destroy their lives...but I guess I am no better. My eyes moved back to Alec now, smiling softly, "Alright, well, I guess bye for now then."

i made a move to get up then stopped , then continued awkardly holding my arms out for a hug

I glanced at Alec for a moment, who moved slightly but then stopped. I was about to turn and head towards the door when he moved again, getting up from the couch and extended his arms out, a gesture for a hug. It was awkward in a way, and I just stared at him for a moment before a small smile graced my lips and I took a shy step towards him and wrapped my arms around his torso, hugging him.

it was a bit weird , but i wrapped my arms around her simply and comforting. i didn't want to let go . i was taller than her , so i didn't hold her too tight as i didn't want to suffocate her .... but i wanted too .

I could feel his arms wrap around me lightly, it was awkward for both of us. I could sense it in his actions, but I did nothing more than close my eyes for a moment, "You're only the second boy whose ever hugged me," I murmured now.

It was funny how he hadn't let go of me yet, but then again, neither had I. I heard the shock in his voice to my words. I could hardly blame him, John had kept a protective watch on me, "Yeah," I murmured now, pulling back slightly.
