He was quiet for a moment, and I wasn't sure if I had said the right then, but he soon answered me. It all came out quite simple for him. My eyes glanced up at him now and I smiled slightly, "I'm glad to hear that..." I wish I had been strong like him in my past, if I was, then perhaps I wouldn't be so broken.

The silence fell over us now. I felt like I might had said something, or done something. Either way, I was certain that I was the one to blame. My thumb continued to rub over my palm gently. I couldn't help but to wonder why Alec was here, but that was not my question to ask and I wasn't sure how he felt about me now. I could tell something had changed in how he wanted to treat me, but certainly not with flirting with me so strongly. My eyes finally glanced up to his for a second, "Did you want me to leave?"

" only if you want too , sorry." i said to her softer than before , maybe i could stay the nice guy , or try to at least . She needed someone to be there for her . She didn't leave or even budge so i started up a conversation , being curious , caustiously i asked " where are you from ?"

I bit my lip at his words. They were so soft, tender even. Something I was not use to hearing coming out of a guy's mouth, out of anybody's mouth. Even though I probably should, I wasn't sure if I wanted to leave Alec yet, so I just sat there, motionless. After a moment, he started up the conversation again, "Paradise, Ohio...no place speacial," I replied as my gaze traveled for a moment before flickering bac to him, "What about you? Where are you from?"

i laughed at her comments " more of attempting to reconnect really." i said picking up my coffee as if it was tea forgetting for a second . She reminded me of the girls back home , i liked that about her , there should be more people like her

As he laughd, I felt myself growing a little more comfortable around him, but perhaps it was because I was trying to take my mind off of me, and put all of my concentretion on him. Either way, it was working out. I smiled, "Reconnent? Is it a family member or a girlfriend?"
