I was on Kotagious and ponying Cipango behind me. it felt nice to be away from free hearts. Just me and my horses, alone, out here. Then, I heard hoofbeats.

I had needed some escape after the craziness that I had earlier on with Cody. Plus, I always just enjoyed riding by myself with Storm. She tossed her head as I asked her to canter onto the trail, and she quickly picked it up. My one hand on the reins, and the other holding down my hat, I was having fun as we ran through the shaded woods. Up ahead, I spotted two horses and a rider now. Pulling on the reins slightly, I asked Storm to slow down to a walk now as we came up besides the girl and her horses, and I reconized her instantly, Cody's ex-girlfriend, "Uh...Bryn, right?"

A snort escaped Storm again, and glanced at her head before looking back at the blonde, "Yep, that's me. And are you Carrie?" she asked now. I simply nodded, "Yeah. We met earlier in the week at the barn."

"Oh yeah, I remember," she replied now, "You are going out with Cody," she added on with a smile. Laughter escaped me, "No, we're just friends," and there was a pause before I added on, "No dating or anything," granted, I wanted to date him, but I wasn't about to bring that up with Bryn, "So...uh, just enjoying the trails today?"

"Ohh haha." I laughed. I could tell that she liked him though.
"You know I wont be mad if you and Cody date. he's a great guy" I smiled, hoping she would take it the right way.

She laughed at me, I already felt like she was reading right through my soul at th emoment, "You know, I won't be mad if you and Cody Date. He's a great guy," she said now, smiling. I just stared at her for a moment before finally talking, "Yeah, he is a nice guy...why did you two stop dating anyways?"
