I led Misty onto the trail. We kept walking for what seemed like forever until we came to a clearing where I knew nobody would be able to watch me and tell me I ' wasn't doing it right'. I stopped Misty and ran my hands all over her body. She was wearing my brown english saddle and bridle. She didn't even flinch this time. I leaned some of my weight on her back. She sighed lazily. I put more weight on and she just stood there. I began to get confident I could do this. I grabbed a handful of mane and swung up onto Misty's back. At first she just stood there then she started bucking crazily. I held on as tight as I could but it wasn't working. I slid along her neck. She reared up and I clung to her neck forcing my weight against her so she would go back down. But she didn't. I could see the fear in her eyes as she toppled over onto me then everything went black.
